This item is a used, fully tested, B&K Reference 30 tuner - preamplifier - processor. It is THX ultra certified, and handles many different audio formats, including; Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital RF for Laserdiscs (with an RF emodulator, not included), Dolby Digital Surround EX, DTS and DVD-Audio.
The B&K Reference 30 also has THX home cinema processing features such as Re-equalization and THX Surround EX. It also has an analog bypass mode that avoids digitally processing analog signals. Its video switcher can handle component video, S-Video and composite video and has ample inputs and outputs to handle many video sources.
