Tel Control Inc. TCI Model TC-911L(Peripherals-Multiplatform)Description: This item is some kind of caller id device for emergency dispatchers, it has an RS-232 port in the back plus an 8 line connector. We connected the device to a standard telephone line with cid to see if it would detect the signal and it doesn't. We also tried to detect dtmf tones with the unit but it doesn't either, so we don't know if the unit is broken or is made for other types of line signaling. Buy it cheap for parts.
