It includes the pen and an OEM power supply. The main batteries don't hold charge and they had to be "defibrillated" with a capacitor discharge in order to unshort them, and so accept some charge to allow the communicator to turn on. We did not pick any wireless signal on our area. It is in good cosmetic condition. The backup battery door is held in place with tape because one of the plastic legs is broken.
