This item is a used Novavision Cable Box Descrambler model; Nova CB-3 5000, series 5800. This cable descrambler turns on, you can change channels, but it doesn't open any scrambled channels in my area. I even connected an RS-232 cable to my laptop's serial port (9600, n, 8, 1) and you can see on the windows terminal program the functions, time and channels as well as the volume settings but I have no idea how to program this box. This box does not include the remote control/manuals or anything else, you will only receive the box. If you are not familiar with this product, please don't bid. This cable descrambler is used and has some wear&tear/scuffs.
NOTICE: This Pre-Owned-Recycled novavision 5800 cable box descrambler was described to the best of our knowledge and it is offered as-is. If the field -Items in Stock- shows zero, the product is no longer available.
